According to a report in La Opinion de Malaga, ambitious Primera Division outfit Malaga are considering making a move for highly rated Fenerbahce attacker Daniel Guiza in the summer transfer window.
Malaga was recently taken over by a Qatari sheik and the new owners are desperate to run the club into one a big force in Spain. Therefore, they're keen to add to their ranks this summer and Guiza is supposedly one of the club's primary targets on the transfer market.
Guiza joined Fenerbahce in the summer of 2008 after impressing for Real Mallorca. However, the Spanish international has never really been able to live up to the high expectations in Istanbul. The 30-year-old is far from popular with the Fenerbahce faithful following his disappointing performances.
The prolific striker is reportedly unsettled in Turkey and is eager to return to Spain ahead of next season. Guiza has an ongoing contract with Fenerbahce, but the Turkish titans are expected to be happy to cash in on him if a big money offer comes in.
