Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano has said he would be happy to remain at the club after the World Cup, suggesting he has never categorically stated he is seeking a move away from the Andalusian outfit.
“I know you are saying that I have said I want to go to Milan or Manchester United, but they are phrases that have been taken out of context,” the Brazilian told Sport.
“I've always just said that it would be an honour to play for teams like Milan or Manchester [United],” he added. “I've also said a lot of times that I would like to stay with Sevilla.”
Tipped by many to be the top scorer at this summer’s World Cup, the Brazilian looks set to boost his reputation even further and recent reports suggest Manchester United is looking like his most likely destination.
