Mou to raid Portuguese champions for Real role...Jose Mourinho has reportedly identified three players, with a combined value of close to €100 million, that he wants Real Madrid to sign for next season, in the event of him taking over as coach.
Rumours are rife in Spain that los Merengues current coach Manuel Pellegrini will be sacked on Wednesday, paving the way for the Special One to take over the Bernabeu hot seat and the Portuguese has already set his sights on his homeland as a source for strengthening Madrid's squad.
Benfica's David Luiz, Fabio Coentrao and Angel Di Maria are thought to be central to Mourinho's plans for next season with los Blancos.
Central defender Luiz is already a reported target of Manchester City but Real are set to step up their chase for the 23-year-old by offering somewhere in the region of €30 million for the highly rated Brazilian stopper.
Argentine winger Di Maria would cost los Merengues a further €44 million and according to AS, Madrid will have to fend off the interests of the red half of Manchester with Alex Ferguson reportedly keen to take the World Cup bound 22-year-old to Old Trafford.
Finally, Coentrao is another player Mourinho is understood to be interested in. The 22-year-old, who is included in Portugal's provisional 30-man squad for the World Cup, operates as a left winger or left wingback and previously had a short but ultimately unsuccessful loan stint at Zaragoza.
