Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola was happy with his side's 3-2 victory over Sevilla on Saturday evening but still urged caution following the game.

The Blaugrana host relegation-threatened Real Valladolid in the final game of the season next weekend and a win will secure the title for Guardiola's side.

"The great fortune is to be able to depend on ourselves, but we must win the game next week because Valladolid need to secure safety for themselves and, knowing Javier Clemente, I sense it will be a very difficult meeting," Guardiola mused following the game.

"We must stress that this [the title] isn't won. We have taken a huge step, but there is a lot of sweating and running yet to come. "

Turning to the game itself, Guardiola lamented the five-minute spell that saw his team concede twice and allow the Andalucian side the chance to stage a comeback.

"Sometimes football is like that and I'm not going to analyse the game because of those five minutes, because we put on an exhibition and Sevilla only created a few chances.

"Bojan could have made it 4-0 or 5-0 but within five minutes, things became complicated, but then we controlled the game very well. We knew that a draw here could leave us out of the title race.

"We now have the chance of winning or losing the league in Camp Nou and, in that sense, we played well in terms of controlling the game and in possession."
