Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola spoke to the press today ahead of tomorrow's crucial match against Sevilla, a match that from which a Barca win would all but ensure their second consecutive Liga title.

In comments reported by Marca, Guardiola reminded the press that Barca had already won three titles this season (the domestic and European Super Cups and the Club World Cup), but that his team's hope was to take the Liga title as well, making it seven titles in two seasons.

"We cannot deny that this is a very important weekend and if we want to be champions we have to win; no other result serves us. We will attack from the first moment and will be very ambitious."

The Barca coach also responded to Madrid counterpart Manuel Pellegrini's comments that he would like to have seen how Barca would have performed without Lionel Messi for two months, as Madrid were without Cristiano Ronaldo for such a time period. "I don't have enough experience to know what would have happened, but what Real Madrid have done deserves a lot of praise. They have had an incredible season."

Guardiola went on to praise Pellegrini. "He is very respectful and educated. He has received a lot of bad press, actually more from Madrid than from here. He is a fantastic coach."
