With yet more rumours connecting Inter trainer Jose Mourinho with the Real Madrid hot-seat emerging this week, current Blancos coach Manuel Pellegrini was forced to tackle the issue in his press conference prior to tomorrow's clash with Osasuna.
"It's better to think about what I say rather than for you to say what I don't think," Pellegrini is quoted as telling journalists by the Europa Press.
The coach then moved onto the title run-in, and postulated that while Villarreal have the capacity to beat Barcelona, such a result would not mean that the title race was over.
"I am certain that Villarreal are a good side and they have been showing that over the past few games. They have beaten Barcelona before, including by three goals. But they will have to play a very good match if they want to win.
"Barcelona have to draw or lose a game and we must win, but it won't be decisive because the league will not be decided until the end. There are only four games left and the team that is top has more options, but every game will be difficult from now on.
"The decisive thing will be to maintain the performance throughout these four matches," he concluded.
