Spanish sports daily AS is widely reputed for its pro-Madrid stance, often being accused of sensationalising stories with the aim of destablilising rivals Barcelona and biased reporting on Los Blancos.
However, in a recent reader poll on AS.com asking which team Madrid fans favoured to win the Champions League, an overwhelming 66% believe the Blaugrana will lift the trophy in the Santiago Bernabeu in May.
The full results of the poll are as follows:
Manchester United: 19%
Bayern Munich: 2%
CSKA Moscow: 1%
Barcelona were drawn against Arsene Wenger's Arsenal in the quarter-finals, a tie that will pit Barca's Thierry Henry and Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas against their former clubs.
Goal.com wants to hear from you. Regardless of team allegiance, do you agree with the AS poll? Who do you think will win the Champions League?
