Tito Vilanova, assistant to Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola, praised the performance of Thierry Henry as the Blaugrana romped to a 3-0 win over Valencia at Camp Nou on Sunday night highlighting the Frenchman's introduction as a crucial turning point in the game.
Vilanova took charge of Barca with Guardiola suspended following his dismissal in last week's game away to Almeria.
Lionel Messi fired a second half hat-trick to claim all three points for the Catalan outfit and Henry was instrumental, assisting in the Argentine's second and third goals.
"His presence allowed depth in attack and gave Messi freedom to move," he declared at the post game press conference.
"With the arrival of Henry we had more depth and above all, we pressed more mistakes out of Valencia. We were better positioned and it has been noticed."
