Valencia Boss Unai Emery Rues His Side's Misfortune In Barcelona Defeat
The los Che coach believes the match hinged on a number of key moments...

Valencia were excellent in the first half, causing Barcelona problems, before Lionel Messi's wonderful hat-trick sent los Che home with nothing to show for their endeavours.
Nikola Zigic also missed a guilt-edged opportunity when the Blaugrana led 1-0, but could not convert and the home side went on to win the match comfortably.
Emery said of the match, “The injury to David Albelda upset the balance of the team, and after that Barcelona were stronger and more settled.
“There were three decisive moments in the match – Albelda’s injury, the sending off of [Hedwiges] Maduro and [Nikola] Zigic’s opportunity.”
Emery also added that he felt his side had controlled the match in the first half, but also took time to praise the individual brilliance of Messi.
He added, “During the first half we have been comfortable, but then the circumstances of the side and the merits of our rivals, with Messi captivating the audience, swung the balance in their favour.
“He [Messi] is probably the best player in the World, playing at a club like Barcelona.”
