Barcelona could use Bojan Krkic as bait to land David Villa of Valencia, according to Cadena Ser.
Krkic, who has struggled for playing time this season, has been linked with a summer exit.
Real Zaragoza are taking a look, but with Barcelona aiming for Villa, the 19-year-old may be sacrificed as part of a lucrative deal with Los Che.
Despite making headlines for his lack of action, Spanish reports claim a number of top European sides are keen on Krkic.
But he may well end up staying in Spain should the Blaugrana use him as a makeweight in plans to lure Villa.
Just days ago, local media in Barcelona claimed Krkic was heading to Bayern Munich as part of a deal to bring in Franck Ribery.
