Deportivo La Coruna Coach Miguel Angel Lotina Signs Contract Extension
The coach to remain in charge until June 2011...
By Paul Madden
Talks between club president Augusto Cesar Lendoiro and Lotina's agent Inaki Ibanez had been ongoing since before Christmas, according to AS, with the finishing touches on the new deal completed earlier this week.
Lotina took charge of the Galician outfit in 2007, taking over from Joaquin Caparros and this season is on target to guide Depor to their best league finish since 2003/04 when they finished third.
By staying at the helm next season Lotina will become just the third Depor coach in the last 80 years to remain in charge for more than three seasons.
