Lambasting Real Madrid for their attitude before their Champions League exit to Lyon, Barcelona director Magda Oranich has issued some inflammatory comments and admitted his happiness at seeing Los Blancos fail.

"This is an example of why you cannot go around being cocky your whole life," began Oranich in statements reported by Marca. "We have enjoyed this but one also has to take into account Guti's comments. Trying to be objective, in the first half I saw a very good Madrid, but in the second half they could have fallen by a number of goals. For a Cule, watching them lose is always satisfying.

"I don't know if they [Madrid] will centre themselves around La Liga. They surprised me against Sevilla, but if I were them I would be completely demoralised. We wil not make the same mistake of being so cocky."

In reference to Sergio Ramos' comments that Madrid would win 3-0, Oranich was critical. "There were headlines that reported him saying that they would win 3-0 and if you say things like that, this type of thing can happen."
