The Liga Sagres outfit Benfica have been in impressive form this term and sit atop of the Portuguese table with 52 points from 21 games. Additionally, the Lisbon side are still in the race to win the Europa League.
"Benfica have the qualities to compete for the league title in Spain. Not only in Spain though, but also in England and in every other European league. I'm convinced of that," said Javi Garcia to A Bola.
The 23-year-old left Real Madrid for Benfica last summer and has immediately developed into a key player at his new club. Javi Garcia has thus no regrets of his move.
"Signing for Benfica has been the best decision of my life. I'm feeling very well at the club and I'm really enjoying life here."
