Barcelona maintained their pole position in the league with a win over Malaga, and Andres Iniesta was pleased with the performance.

Speaking to AS after the game, Iniesta said, "It was a very intense and hard game, but we got a very important result."

"We played very well. These games give you confidence and boost morale.

"I do not like to speak about refereeing, because it is a very difficult job. Too much is being talked about them.

"With good results, the refereeing mistakes are insignificant."

Iniesta then looked ahead to the rest of the season, continuing, "Now we must continue working and enjoying this win."

"We want to remain as leaders."
