Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole, who is currently out with an injury, could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge at the end of the season in a culmination to personal issues that have been highly publicised in the British press.
Recent reports may see the Chelsea star unsettled in London and such news, according to Sport and Marca, has alerted the ever-opportunisitc Spanish giants to the potential availability of the England left back.
At 29 years old, Cole is one of the best left backs in the world; a position that has been a particular Achilles heel for Real Madrid since Roberto Carlos left the Spanish capital.
