Real Madrid's Esteban Granero: My Best Is Yet To Come
El Pirata was one of Madrid's best against Espanyol and feels he still has much more to offer...

Giving one of his best performances in a Madrid shirt in last weekend's Liga win against Espanyol, Real Madrid midfielder and youth product Esteban Granero has become a fan favourite at the Santiago Bernabeu and sat down with Spanish sports daily AS to speak about his first six months in white.
Whilst against Deportivo La Coruna it was Guti's backheel that won praise from the Madridistas, against Espanyol it was Granero's performance that was most notable with two goals coming by way of his service; a free kick that Sergio Ramos drilled home, and a rebound Kaka which slotted in after Granero served up a blistering cross.
"I feel very well physically and am playing with more and more confidence, but I always say that my best is yet to come," said Granero.
With respect to Barca continuing to maintain their five-point Liga lead over Los Blancos, El Pirata continued to be optimisitic. "Their lead is not definititve. We know we cannot fail and we are on a good path. We can catch them."
