Manchester City Enquire Into Availability Of Barcelona Striker Bojan Krkic - Report
The Spanish-born Serbian could be en route to Eastlands...
By Paul Macdonald
Big-spending English Premier League side Manchester City are the latest club to be linked with a move for young Barcelona starlet Bojan Krkic.
The Spaniard, who has been capped at full international level for his country despite being just 19 years of age, has been on the periphery of the action this season for the Blaugrana, particularly due to the emergence of Pedro.
It is understood that City boss Roberto Mancini will be given an unlimited budget as the January transfer window draws to a close, so is looking for loan signings to boost his personnel as the battle to finish in the top four in England intensifies.
Bojan, who has previously been linked with a move to Arsenal, could become a component of the mooted swap deal for Brazilian Robinho, and The Mail on Sunday comments that the Camp Nou striker may be heading to Manchester in exchange.
Robinho is reportedly unhappy at Eastlands, and last weekend he was substituted despite coming on as a sub twenty minutes into the 2-0 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park.
Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola is thought to be an admirer of Robinho, and was linked with a move for the former Real Madrid striker last summer.
