The Yellow Submarines coach looks for maximum points from their next two outings....

Villarreal coach Ernesto Valverde admitted his side were off the pace in their 4-1 defeat to Valencia at the Mestalla.

"We didn't do well in the game. They have been more intense from the start and also with the dismissal [of Kiko] and two goals against us, Valencia found space," he said afterwards at a press conference.

"We have a large accumulation of red cards and penalties against us and that worries us. I do not know if it was inside or outside the area."

Valverde has demanded that his side collect a maximum six points from their next two games, both at the Madrigal, against Real Zaragoza and Osasuna in a bid to continue climbing the table and get themselves back in contention for a European place.

"Now we must think about the upcoming matches. We have emerged from a difficult situation and now we cannot fall back into it again. We need to win in two consecutive home games to come," he declared.
