Gonzalo Higuain Not Leaving Real Madrid For Arsenal
Argentine wants to finish career with Los Blancos...
Gonzalo Higuain has moved to allay fears he is set to leave Real Madrid for Arsenal by stating he intends to finish his career with Los Blancos.
The 22-year-old Argentine has earned a reputation as one of Europe's most prolific strikers after firing 42 goals in 90 appearances for Madrid, whom he joined from River Plate in 2007.
It was reported that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was considering an audacious swoop for the hitman, but Higuain has moved to pledge his future to the Spaniards.
"It would be wonderful to finish my career here," he said, as quoted by AS.
"Real Madrid and the city are my second home, it would be fantastic. I would like that the Madrid fans remember me as a great person, humble and hard working."
