Mauricio Pochettino Bemoans Espanyol's Bad Luck
The Espanyol coach believes all his side needs is a little luck...
The Periquitos currently sit way down in 16th place, just three points from the relegation zone and despite picking up just 16 points in 16 league games, the Argentinian coach is confident his side have enough quality to see them out of danger.
"We have had several good situations throughout the season and we currently generate chances, but we lack a bit of aim and luck in the final metres,” he said, according to AS.
“Effort and the work are often easier than scoring the goals. You have to seduce the fortune and that is what we will do," he added.
Pochettino’s side face a relegation six pointer next week against Real Zaragoza and the coach is remaining upbeat about his side’s current plight.
“I would not worry too much”, he said. “What worries me is the behaviour of the team."
