Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa said his side lacked continuity after their scoreless draw away to Osasuna.

Los Merengues had the chance to go level with league leaders Barcelona at the top of the Primera Liga table by winning at the Reyno de Navarra but had to settle for a draw.

Arbeloa admitted that his side were a little anxious in the tie in Pamplona but insists they must now redirect their focus to next weekend's game against Mallorca at the Bernabeu.

"The team has not had the continuity needed to win but we must not take anything away from Osasuna, who are a hard working and physical side," he said, as quoted by AS.

"We were a little anxious knowing that Barcelona drew yesterday [Saturday] but there is a long way to go in the league and now we must think about Mallorca.
