Gregorio Manzano Cautious About Mallorca Position After Athletic Bilbao Win
The Balearic Islanders sit fourth in the Primera Liga...
Second half goals from Julio Alvarez and Aritz Aduriz gave the Balearic Islanders a comfortable victory at the Ono Stadi but Manzano is refusing to get carried away by his sides lofty league position.
"We have proven that all our players are working hard in training. It was difficult against a physical Athletic [Bilbao] but our team was very solid," he said afterwards, according to AS.
"It's not real at the moment [the league position], it's circumstantial because next we face Real Madrid away and it will not be easy to take points.
"We must continue our work, step by step and quietly, collecting points. The goal is closer every time and we aim to place ourselves in the leading group and fight for every point."
