We Had Chances To Beat Osasuna - Real Madrid Coach Manuel Pellegrini
Los Merengues fail to do enough to climb to first in the table...
Los Merengues had the opportunity to climb to the summit of the Primera Liga, albeit on goal difference, with a win against the Navarran outfit but failed to take advantage of Barcelona's slip on Saturday. As a result Madrid remain in second, two points behind the champions.
"The Reyno de Navarra is not an easy venue. The games here are very intense. Osasuna played well. In the second half we had chances to win it but overall it was a very balanced game," Pellegrini said afterwards, as quoted by AS, before praising the efforts of Los Blancos back line.
"We were very good at the back. I don't think Osasuna created any moment of real danger."
