thumbnail Hello,

The Arsenal captain does not seem intent on leaving anytime soon.

Implicitly rubbishing the rumours that have linked him to Barcelona and Real Madrid next season, Cesc Fabregas has indicated in an exclusive interview with Marca that he has plenty of time left with Arsenal.

When asked about his plans for the summer (an allusion to a summer transfer), Fabregas was blunt. "I have a clear head, I am very happy at Arsenal, and I still have a lot left to do in England. I only want to say that. I don't think of anything else. I am very calm."

When asked about which he would prefer to wear on his chest, Bwin (Real Madrid's sponsor) or Unicef (Barca's sponsor), Fabregas was, again, stern. "I have arrived upon a conclusion: the best thing is not to speak of such things. Starting from the summer these rumours have started and all I do is think of my club and of how I can best help my teammates. Furthermore, do you want to know what worries me the most now? Recovering from my current injury."

Finally when asked about his desires for 2010, Fabregas was unequivocal: "a title with Arsenal and the World Cup with Spain."
