All does not seem right in the Barcelona high offices after club president Joan Laporta was reportedly involved a shouting match with vice-president Jaume Ferrer for declaring his candidacy in the club elections without consulting the current Barca supremo.
As reported on the program 'Hora 25' on Cadena SER, Laporta allegedly told his second in command: "You are s**t" along with some other choice words.
The clash, which is said to have occurred last Wednesday after a club dinner with the press, lasted 10 minutes, during which time Laporta is reported to have threatened Ferrer with demotion.
Ferrer is one of the four vice-presidents whose activities were allegedly 'spied upon' by the club in a scandal earlier this year. The list of other candidates for the Barca elections to be held in the spring include Alfons Godall, Sandro Rosell (Laporta's ex-right hand man), Jaume Guixa, and Agusti Benedito.
