Sevilla's Acosta Eager To Return To Action
The Argentine is almost ready to make his comeback...
Acosta was operated on for a damaged artery in his ankle in November, and his recuperation is nearing completion. Speaking to the club's official website, he said, "I will return in a month or so."
"Then I have to get my rhythm back. I have to be cautious, not to hurry it.
"I am anxious to get back on the pitch, but I am not ready yet. I have concentrated on the recovery, and now must wait for the right moment.
"I am very optimistic."
Acosta then elaborated on his situation in more detail, continuing, "The doctors said that this is the final step in ending all the problems this injury has given me."
"I expect to return in better shape, without any inconveniences. I go to rehabilitation every day, and spend the rest of the time at home.
"Rest is the best."
