Atletico Madrid Coach Quique Flores Fears The Worst After Villarreal Defeat
He says his team are making very basic mistakes...
Atletico Madrid coach Quique Flores said the worst is not over for his team after they fell to a last minute goal against Villarreal at the Vicente Calderon.
Flores said his side made "incomprehensible mistakes" and panicked against the Yellow Submarine, who overturned Simao's opener thanks to goals from David Fuster and Joseba Llorente.
"I warned in an earlier press conference that the team had not fully recovered with two consecutive wins and there would be problems and unfortunately today was one of them," he told a press conference.
"We played the game a panic from the first minute, with an unjustified unrest and that makes it very difficult to win games. It's not easy to play at the Calderon. The fans are tired, disillusioned and impatient and it's not easy in that situation. I think the worst is not over yet.
"We made mistakes with easy passes and did things that are not easy to understand."
