Many were expecting Barcelona to thrash Xerez on Wednesday night, but in the end the Blaugrana could only manage a 2-0 victory.

Speaking to Marca after the match, 'Cuco' Ziganda expressed his pride in his team, saying, "We had three or four chances, and we could have caused a scare if we took one of them."

"Barca have two teams, and any one of their players can hurt you. We are still satisfied with our work.

"We are not getting the results, but we will not give up."

Xerez are currently bottom of La Liga, having only manager four goals thus far.
