After Yaya Toure intimated that he would have to consider his future with Barcelona, his agent has revealed that his client is unhappy with his lack of playing time with the Blaugrana.
"We aren't happy - he isn't playing and it's strange that he's not getting minutes. Barca cannot let themselves be without a player like Toure," Dimitri Seluk is quoted as saying by Sport.
Should the situation not change in the near future, Seluk announced that the player would be ready to listen to any offers from some of the world's leading clubs.
"I don't know if we will continue with Barca or not, but it won't be on the bench.
"If a team like Manchester City or Chelsea comes in, we will be ready to negotiate," he concluded.
Scarcely a fortnight ago, a move to the Citizens had been brusquely ruled out by Seluk, but recent events seem to have resulted in a change of heart.
Toure has also been linked to Serie A leaders Inter recently. However, any dealings in the winter transfer window would be hampered by the African Cup of Nations, which is scheduled to take place from January 10-31.
