There Is Still A Long Way To Go In La Liga - Real Madrid's Marcelo
The Brazilian is disappointed with the result in el Clasico, but insists the league is far from over...
Marcelo had a torrid match for Real Madrid against Barcelona on Sunday night, but he does not believe that the team deserved to lose.
Prior to last night, los Blancos had won their last three games 1-0 but saw that scoreline reversed in the Camp Nou.
Marcelo told AS that el Clasico was different to many of their previous results as "until now we won without playing well but today it was the opposite."
Sergio Busquets was sent off for the hosts in the 63rd minute, and the Brazilian believes that los Merengues needed to be patient in order to try and find the equaliser.
"When we were a man up, we had to have the patience to score the goal and we tried to do that," he affirmed.
However, he is not too downhearted after the result as only 12 matches have been played so far this season.
"It was very important to win, but the league is very long," he concluded.
