Sporting Gijon claimed an impressive 1-0 win over Villarreal to continue their promising start to the season, and Manolo Preciado was pleased with his charges.
Speaking to Marca after the match, he said, "We beat a team with nine internationals from countries like Spain, Italy and Brazil."
"We may not have played as well as this game last season, but this time we won. We know that there will be tough times ahead, so we must enjoy this.
"The most important game is the next one, against Tenerife."
