Valencia dominated the match but could only claim a 1-1 draw against Mallorca at the Mestalla.
Los Che lost an opportunity to close in on the leaders, but Unai Emery was satisified with his side's efforts. Speaking to Marca, he said, "Mallorca did well because they did not give up, but we also played a good game."
"We still have things to improve on."
Mallorca earned their equalizer through a controversial penalty, but Emery remained tight-lipped on the situation, stating, "He is a good referee with a lot of personality."
Valencia remain in fourth place, with 25 points.
