Miguel was left out of the squad for last week's trip to Pamplona to play Osasuna as punishment for arriving late to training the previous Friday, sparking suggestions of a surprise exit from the club and it appears Emery is set to continue the sanction against the full-back.
The players agent, Paulo Barbosa has been quoted by Super Deporte as stating that Bavarian giants Bayern Munich are a possible destination for Miguel during the winter transfer window but the player is understood to prefer a return to Portugal to be near his daughters.
"There is an option for Miguel to go to Bayern but we must speak with Valencia," Barbosa said.
Miguel's contract with Los Che runs until 2012 but it appears his days at the club may be numbered.
