Joaquin Aware Pablo Hernandez & Juan Mata Preferred In Valencia First XI
He says he accepts being a substitute, for now...
Valencia winger Joaquin has admitted that he is unlikely to make the first eleven at Los Che in the near future with Pablo Hernandez and Juan Mata in such good form and while he accepts that for now he says that the end of the season may tell a different tale.
Joaquin got a rare opportunity to start in the 3-1 win over Osasuna at Pamplona last weekend but he is aware that if Pablo and Mata are in form, he is likely to start from the bench.
"The other day was chance to play with me and Pablo but it was because Mata was injured. I don't think that happens much again and since Pablo is doing very well, like Mata, it is logical to continue with them," he told Super Deporte.
"I am personally very happy, because I try to enjoy the time I have playing, like the other day against Osasuna.
"This situation is not pleasant, but I will not be big headed because the team is going well, with a good level of football and while I don't have minutes, I enjoy the balance that this year has given me. At the end of the season if I still don't have minutes, I will assess the situation and see what I can do."
