Barcelona's trip to Xerez will be played two weeks in advance of its original scheduled date, according to the Spanish football league (LFP).

The LFP announced via their official website that the Blaugrana's commitments in the FIFA Club World Cup clashes with the matchday 15 clash, which was originally due to be played on the weekend of December 19-20.

Since the Club World Cup runs from December 9-19 in Abu Dhabi, the LFP have decided to reschedule the game for Wednesday, December 2 at 22:00 CET.

Before they are able to consider the trip to Andalucia, Pep Guardiola's men have a game to negotiate with Real Madrid.

El Clasico takes place on Sunday at the Camp Nou, and the Blaugrana will be in high spirits after confidently dispatching Inter in their Champions League tie on Tuesday.
