There was not such positive news for the Blaugrana regarding Lionel Messi's fitness...

Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has received a major boost ahead of tomorrow's Champions League game with Inter, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been able to take part in some training on Monday.

Journalists were only allowed 15 minutes in which to view the Blaugrana's training session today, but Sport report that Ibrahimovic warmed up by himself before joining the rest of the group in a passing exercise.

Rafa Marquez was also training with the main group as Barcelona had confirmed that the illness he was suffering from was not the H1N1 virus, which Eric Abidal and Yaya Toure are currently sidelined with.

However, Lionel Messi came out onto the training pitch a few minutes later than the rest of the team and worked with physio Juanjo Brau, before doing some light training with the ball on his own.

Guardiola is keeping his cards close to his chest ahead of tomorrow's game and is yet to reveal his squad. The trainer is looking to give his injured stars as much of a chance to recover before making a final decision.
