Malaga's Hard Work Didn't Pay Off Against Real Zaragoza - Juan Ramon Muniz
The coach labels the Rosaleda pitch 'appalling'...
Malaga coach Juan Ramon Muniz said that his sides hard work is not being rewarded after their 1-1 draw with Real Zaragoza and also declared that the pitch at the Rosaleda is in an appalling state.
The Andalusian outfit remain at the foot of the Primera Liga table and needed an Ivan Gonzalez goal to cancel out Ewerthon's penalty and rescue a point from this game.
"We worked very hard during the week so that the results come, but it hasn't come today. The first half we had it under control, with few chances and the match was very level, very close. They [Zaragoza] were equal to other teams we have faced," he told a press conference.
"Everyone knows that the pitch is terrible, this is nothing new, it's bad from the Peace Cup [in pre-season] . It is not the pitch of a professional team and with the pitch in an appalling condition this is what you get. We have to adapt to it."
