Pele: Spain Remind Me Of Brazil' 70
La Furia Roja are his favourites for South Africa...
With the World Cup looming ever closer, Pele offered his thoughts on the competition to El Mundo. Speaking about Spain, he said, "They have great technique, but their best virtue is the intelligence of their midfield players."
"They are comparable to the Brazil team of 1970, but with one difference. That team could send out two equally strong teams.
"Someone would get injured, and an equally good player would replace him.
"That is the key in a World Cup, and I do not know if Spain can do that."
