Real Madrid's Garay And Drenthe Thrilled With Racing Santander Win
The Merengues' pair are pleased to be back on top...
Speaking to Marca after the match, Garay said, "It was a special game, because I played against my former team."
"It was intense and I am satisfied with the victory. It is hard to play in defence in such an attacking team.
"Not everyone can play every game. First we have a match against Zurich, then the Clasico, which we all want to play in.
"The coach will select those who impress the most in training."
Royston Drenthe then echoed similar sentiments, stating, "It was a tough game."
"It would have been easier if we had scored a second goal. We must show our best form in the Clasico, but first we have a key game against Zurich.
"I worked very hard to get back in the team after the game against Alcorcon. The coach told me that if I worked hard I could play again.
"I am the only one who can change my situation."
