Barcelona Striker Bojan Krkic Set To Replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic Against Athletic Bilbao
The youngster is set to make his 100th appearance for the club...
The absence of Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic from the Barcelona lineup against Athletic Bilbao tonight means that Bojan Krkic could make his second start of the season for the Blaugrana at San Mames tonight.
Bojan has not started a league game for Barcelona since the opening day of the season against Sporting Gijon at Camp Nou, a game in which he opened the scoring for the champions.
The 19-year-old has scored in two previous visits to San Mames, once with Barca and another with Catalonia against the Basque Country in an unofficial international friendly almost two years ago.
"It is a stadium where I am looking forward to going back because I've had a great time. I scored a nice goal there with Catalonia and was able to score against with Barcelona," Bojan said, as quoted by Sport.
Bojan is set to make his 100th appearance for Barcelona in all competitions and he will be looking to add to the two goals he scored in the second leg of the Copa del Rey fourth round against Cultural Leonesa earlier this month.
