Diego Perotti Flattered By Real Madrid Interest But Happy At Sevilla
The Argentinian expects to remain with the Andalusian outfit for many years...
Recent reports in the Spanish press suggest the Argentinian, who won his first cap for the Albicelestes last weekend against Spain, was a prime target for Los Merengues next summer but Perotti seems uninterested.
"For now I only think about staying here for many years because this club has given me everything. I want to win something with Sevilla. It's nice that the big teams are focussed on me because it means that things are going well, but I am calm. My mind is on Sevilla and it is the team where I want to grow as a footballer," Perotti told AS.
Coach Manolo Jimenez also seems unperturbed by the winger being linked with Madrid and sees it as a sign that Los Nervionenses are doing things well.
"We are proud that they [Real Madrid] think about our players, it is a sign that we are doing our job. All of this is okay but Perotti will continue for many more years wearing the shirt of Sevilla," he declared.
