Valencia Midfielder Ever Banega Expecting Tough Game Against Osasuna
The Argentinian says things are going well for Los Che...
The Argentinian played for Atletico Madrid at the Reyno de Navarra last season and is fully aware that the Reyno de Navarra is no place to show off.
"In Pamplona we are going to face a physical match and one of the toughest games in the league. I got a few minutes there last year with Atletico Madrid and it helped me to realise it's a tough venue, not a pitch to show off, it's a place where we will have to fight for every ball," he told Super Deporte.
Banega says that the season so far has gone quite well for his team and the objective of UEFA Champions League football next season is still very muc on target, but he's not getting carried away.
"For now we're fine. The season is long. We are on track and things are going very well. The most important thing is to be in the Champions League, because for years that Valencia has not been. We aim for that first and then the other competitions which are also important. We must take it slowly, but I think the team can do great things," he said.
