Sevilla Winger Diego Perotti A 2010 Target For Real Madrid - Report
Los Merengues are looking to add the Argentinian as an option on the wing...
Real Madrid are reportedly looking at a potential swoop for Sevilla winger Diego Perotti next summer, according to AS.
The 21-year-old has been in impressive form this season and has turned heads at the Bernabeu, who see the Argentinian as a natural alternative to Cristiano Ronaldo should the Portuguese star get injured. Ronaldo's seven week absence has highlighted Madrid's lack of sufficient depth on the wing, and it is understood that Perotti is top of their list of options to join the club next year.
Perotti's contract with the Andalusian outfit does not expire until June 2013, but his €24 million buyout clause is unlikely to deter Florentino Perez.
The winger made his international debut for Argentina against Spain in last weekend's friendly and with his stock rising, Madrid could be ready to pounce and prise another player from Sevilla, having previously signed Sergio Ramos and Julio Baptista from Los Nervionenses.
Brazilian Adriano is said to be another Sevilla player interesting Madrid but it is unclear if Los Merengues are to pursue the versatile left-sided player with any real intent.
