Real Madrid midfielder Esteban Granero says he is eager just to play again in front of the Bernabeu support, but expects a tough test from Racing Santander on Saturday.

Madrid have not played since their exit from the Copa del Rey against Alcorcon and Granero is keen to impress the fans once again.

"I can not wait to go back to the Bernabeu, to make all the stands clap and enjoy the game and the result," he told AS before adding that the fans can play their part in the game.

"They [Racing] are also coming off a losing streak. They have changed their coach and the players certainly will be very motivated."

"They come to a stadium like the Bernabeu and will give more than 100 per cent. I think it will be a tough game but we are favourites.

"Anyway, the support of our fans we will benefit us much."

Granero also said that his team is highly motivated and will look to score early in the game.

"We will try to score an early goal because we're going out with that extra motivation," he noted.
