Real Madrid Defender Ezequiel Garay Looking Forward To Racing Santander Tie
The Argentinian says facing his old club is special...
Real Madrid defender Ezequiel Garay is looking forward to taking on former club Racing Santander on Saturday and while he wishes new Racinguistas coach Miguel Angel Portugal well, he fully expects Los Blancos to take all three points.
Garay worked under Portugal during his last spell at El Sardinero in the 2006/07 season. He joined Real Madrid in 2008 but continued at Racing on loan last season.
"It's a very special game for me. And, frankly, we expect to take all three points in order to keep our momentum and put a little more pressure on Barca," the Argentinian told AS before adding that he hopes and expects Portugal to do well at his old club.
"He's a very good coach [Portugal] who already knows what Racing is about and already knows the players there. I just wish him well and I am sure it will go well."
