It is reported on the club's official website that Ibrahimovic was suffering some discomfort in the back of his left thigh during Wednesday's training session, and he underwent a number of medical tests on Thursday.
The tests have confirmed that the Swede has a slight pull in the back of his left hamstring, similar to the thigh strain that he picked up against Mallorca that kept him out for around a week.
His recuperation will be closely monitored, and Pep Guardiola will be particularly concerned over his star striker's fitness with the clash against Real Madrid just around the corner.
The former Inter man has started well with his new side, scoring seven goals in nine league matches since joining from the Italian champions last summer.
