Jesus Navas & David Villa Reflect On Spain's Win Over Austria
Both players happy with different experiences at the Ernst Happel...
Valencia striker David Villa said he was happy to return to the scene of Spain's European championship triumph after they hammered Austria 5-1 at the Ernst Happel Stadion.
"I am happy to come here again and remember the beautiful feeling that we had two summers ago. I think we dominated the game with a comprehensive victory and good performance," remarked Villa, who scored twice.
"There is a long time before we come together again because we have no game until March. But we are always motivated when the national team meet looking to win games and continuing like this."
Newcomer Jesus Navas declared himself "very proud" to be in the international set-up with La Furia Roja and praised the teams effort in the comprehensive win.
"I am very happy with the work of the whole team and the result. We are proud to be in this group, I really want to come back.
"Both on and off the field we are all together. It is very good, I enjoyed it," noted the Sevilla winger.
