Pep Guardiola Is A Brilliant Coach - Barcelona Starlet Pedro
Pedro has learned a lot from Pep...
Barcelona starlet Pedro is hoping Pep Guardiola remains at the helm "for many years" and acknowledged that he has learned a lot during the brief period the coach has been in charge.
"He is a brilliant coach who should remain here for many years. He has taught me a lot, especially how to position myself on the field. I'm gaining a lot of confidence, many opportunities, and I try to use these chances to work," he told Sport.
"If Guardiola's not here next season, it would be a blow for everyone at the club, not just for me."
'Pedrito' also said that scoring against Real Madrid would be a dream come true and admitted he is targeting history at the FIFA World Club Championship in Abu Dhabi in December by becoming the first Barca player to score in six separate competitions in one season.
"It would be a dream to score against Real Madrid in a game so important. When the Club World Cup comes we will try to win it but now we must focus on our upcoming games. To get it [the record], of course, would be something historic and I will be lucky if I can do it. It would make me very happy," he declared.
