Cristiano Ronaldo Hopeful Of Training Return For Real Madrid
The Madrid star could be back training by the end of this week. 'CR9' has indicated that he is feeling increasingly healthy...
Cristiano Ronaldo is hopeful that he can return to training with Real Madrid this week as he aims to be fit in time to face Barcelona at the end of the month.
The Portuguese star has missed Los Merengues' last nine games and was recently ruled out of his country's World Cup play-off encounters with Bosnia-Herzegovina.
After trying to remain patient, Ronaldo can now see light at the end of the tunnel and believes that he could be back in training before the weekend.
"Let's see what happens, but around the middle of this week I am confident I will already be working with my team-mates," he was quoted as telling AS.
"This week I will have another test to see if I am fit, but the recovery is well on track."
Ronaldo suffered a blow to his ankle during Madrid's Champions League game against Olympique de Marseille and then aggravated the problem while on international duty last month.
