The veteran French midfielder insists that those involved at Madrid have no patience and when things are not going well it is inevitably the coach that pays for it. Pires also remarked that Pellegrini expected difficult situations when he took the job at Madrid.
"The people in Madrid have no patience, I know it is a tough team and that the people do not want to wait, they want to see a strong Madrid, but people do not know that when you change so many players you cannot find a pretty brand of football easily," he said, according to Marca.
"He who pays for all that, as always, is the coach. Pellegrini is trying to do well, but people do not want to wait."
"You cannot forget what happened in the locker room Alcorcon. What he [Guti] said can not be said, it is a lack of respect. Pellegrini knew that if he went to Real Madrid and that he would find this kind of situation, and it would not be easy for him. Normally, Pellegrini would not forgive Guti, but I think that will change a little, and he has to do so if he wants to continue."
